This
tool contains program profiles posted by many of the thousands
of vibrant programs throughout the world that provide care
and support to children affected, infected and orphaned by
HIV/AIDS.
Included in the database are community-based programs, government
agencies, non-governmental organizations, youth groups, health
workers, association of people living with HIV/AIDS, and individuals.
For each program you can find a brief description, contact
information, location of activities, and a list of services
offered. In addition, the program’s resource needs are
listed.
PURPOSE
The global online database is a tool that aims to:
- Increase attention to the plight and needs of children
and communities that are impoverished and weakened by HIV/AIDS
as well as
- Highlight the vibrant and successful responses to the
needs of children by dedicated communities and individuals
at the grassroots level
- Link organizations to one another based on geographic
and programmatic similarities in order to share knowledge
and experiences and to network available services
- Connect grassroots programs with generous donors throughout
the world who can provide financial, in-kind, and technical
support.The Children’s AIDS Fund
is registered as non-profit under section 501c3 of United
States fiscal law.
The information included is self-reported and inclusion in
the database does not constitute an endorsement. You
may contact us to inquire about those programs that have
been visited by PP/CAF staff, Board or partners.

The Children's AIDS Fund (CAF) works to limit suffering of children and their families caused by HIV disease by providing care, services, resources, referrals, and education. To complement research effort and provide tangible immediate assistance for those dealing with HIV, the CAF focuses on meeting practical needs of HIV-impacted children and families.
